5th Airneth Annual Lecture by James Hogan, President and CEO of Etihad Airways
On 25 April 2013, Mr. James Hogan gave the 5th Airneth Annual Lecture. Mr. Hogan is President and CEO of Etihad Airways. He also serves as vice chairman on the Executive Committee of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) and is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Board of Governors. His lecture was entitled “The airline industry: Future perspectives and strategy”.
Mr. Hogan discussed new approaches to dealing with emerging challenges facing airlines in the global economy. Airneth felt this lecture was very timely, given the launch of Etihad's Abu Dhabi - Amsterdam service on 15 May 2013 and the cooperation with Air France-KLM.
