European Aviation Conference 2014

The third European Aviation Conference, the premier economics and public policy conference in aviation, is entitled 'Aviation Infrastructure Capacity: too much or too little?' Lack of aviation capacity as well as overcapacity in aviation infrastructure simultaneously exist in many countries. Can capacity utilization be improved by better air traffic forecasting, new slot allocation methods, more flexible planning techniques and better social cost benefit analyses? These are just some of the issues that will be addressed during this conference.

The conference will take place on 6 and 7 November 2014 at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. This year's conference is hosted by the Schiphol Group and co-organized by Airneth, the German Aviation Research Society, the University of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. As usual, there will be a German Aviation Research Society Workshop immediately before the conference, on November 5th.
